If you’re a fan of cinema and a fan of graphic design, this article is for you. Classic poster designs are like wine and when they’re really good, they get better and better as they age. And like the iconic pieces of pop culture and memorabilia that they are, some of them continue to inspire contemporary artists into using them as direct references when it’s time to create new pieces for modern tv shows and movies.

We selected some classic movie posters that have inspired modern reinterpretations, as artists often get inspiration from any place they can get it.
